FEES & INFORMATION

Participants can only choose between one of the in hand sessions with either Ian or Tina as these classes will run at the same time - Participants with Ian need to bring their own horse presented as they would for a show class, (horse and exhibitor) - we cannot accept entires in this training session for practical reasons - Participants undertaking the PJI with Tina will observe the horses forward and taking part in the inhand clinic with Ian unless owners specifically request otherwise
Horses and riders taking part in the ridden session with Kathryn, must be forward and presented as if taking part in a ridden showing class.
The clinic fee entitles participants to enter one of their own horses into one of the inhand clinics and one of their own horses in the ridden clinic, as long as the horse is registered to that person. For instance you can bring your yearling into the in hand clinic and ride your 4 year old in the ridden later in the day. The stallion parade is not included and must be paid for as a seperate item.

SPORT - ARABIAN /TRAKENER EVENT
This event is designed to provide both a ‘fun day’ and a means of showing the development of performance horses under saddle. The logic is that however hard one concentrates on breeding the best bloodlines, it is the performance of the horse that matters most.
The Sport Arab and the Trakehner horse are closer than many would think. They are both bred in ‘closed’ stud books, and are true breeds in themselves, but are inter–linked, as the Trakehner stud books have used the very best Arab and Anglo–Arab blood as well as Thoroughbred for 275 years to enhance the performance of the breed.
The event is set up so that both breeds will benefit, and will compete together, and its overall objective is the improvement of training of performance horses.
For 2009 we intend widening the event to include other breeds that have some Arab blood in their genetic make-up.
